December 1, 2015

Hello to all!! I am going to date this one a day ahead because I have to time to write now. This month started off with bang. Kelly started 3 weeks of EMR so that meant packed lunches and driving to Grande Prairie every day. Its something he needs to do every couple of years for the fire department. Also he needs it for his EMT that he going to take. The 3rd I took Nigel for his one year check-up. He is a very healthy boy. Dr had no concerns about him. I stopped by sewing for a bit and dinner then brought the babies home for naps. Wednesday I deep cleaned our bedroom. We rearranged it a while back and I never cleaned it properly. I also made butterhorns.  Thursday the 5th Elaine hosted a Pampered Chef party. So I left the kids with Kelly and Marshal and went there for the evening.  The 6th I cleaned house and went to town in the afternoon. Met Kelly and did our stuff and came home. Saturday night Ricky, Corey, and Marshal came for a pizza supper. After supper we went over to Tony's for cake and ice cream. The 8th we went to Galen's for dinner. In the evening we had company for supper. We had Lorne Toews', Kevin's and Andrea. I made Pioneer Woman's chicken taco salad. It was awesome!! The 10th Nigel had his one year shots and Heidi and I got the flu shot. The 13th we went to town again. I cleaned house in the morning. The 15th we and Travis for dinner. We had company for supper again. We had Lowell's and Carlin's. I made chicken taco salad again. It is so good and very easy. We listened to Conference all three nights. It was very inspiring to hear. The 20th found us in town again. It was Kelly's last day at school. I cleaned house in the morning. The 21rst we where back in town for parts. The 22nd Marshal, Jared, and Tyler where here for dinner. We again had company for supper. We had Ross's and Landon's. This time we did grilled pork loin, gourmet potatoes, fresh fruit, and lettuce salad. Yes I know that this sounds like a lot of company but we haven't had any in a long time so it was high time again. The 23rd we ran to Tony's in the evening to take them leftovers because it was to much for us. The 25th found us back in town for business this time. The 27th  was cleaning day again. The 28th I did a Christmas craft sale in Beaverlodge. I sell Pampered Chef. I am the only one in the area. The next closest one is 4 -5 hours away. Kelly was able to watch the babies for me. I was very glad for that. We ran to Tony's quick the evening to give Thomas and Simon their birthday present. The 29th I stayed home from church in the morning. I was trying to get over my second migraine for the week. Nigel stayed with me. Now for a little update on the kids. Nigel is walking all over now. He started about a week after his birthday. He also has gotten 2 more teeth. He now has 8 of them. Nothing new with Heidi. Well that is all for this time.  Good night and till next time....

November 4, 2015

Hello to all! I'm going to get this done early this month! So we had a busy month I hope it doesn't get to long. The first part of the month I was going some sewing. It rained one day so we went to town. The 3rd I cleaned house and we went to church in the evening because Kelly had to usher for a wedding the next day. The 4th was Troy and Monica's wedding. Monica is from here and was teaching in Grandview and that is where she met Troy. She also has a sister that lives there. I had to take Grape Salad. The 5th I cut out some more dresses. The 8th the kids and I ran to town for groceries. I needed to get things for Thanksgiving.  The 9th I cleaned house and made 6 six loaves of bread for Thanksgiving. The 10th I did some sewing. I am trying out a new pattern thats seems to to fitting nice and it sews up quick. I am trying to get all my sewing done before Christmas. The 11th we went to folks for Thanksgiving dinner. I took bread ans sweet potatoes. They had a full house so there was lots of people and kids! Monday the 12th was Thanksgiving.  We always have a big supper at supper and invite the friends and neighbours.  I took bread, sweet potatoes, and stuffing. The 14th Glenda and Amy came over. Glenda is helping me with my new pattern. She sews it for Becky so she was helping me get it to fit right. I sewed the next couple of days and cleaned the house. One day I ran to town again. The 18th we had Mark and Trista for supper.  We are on program committee with them and we needed to plan program. The 19th Kelly needed to run to town so we did quick in the evening. We bought Heidi and Nigel their Christmas present as we are gonna be gone for Christmas. We got them a play Kitchen. I set it up after they went to bed and the look on Heidi's face when she saw it the next morning was priceless! She never saw us buy it or anything but she knew what it was the moment she saw it the living room. "Look mommy new kitchen" " thank-you mommy thank-you" was said over and over! The 20th Jared was here for supper. The 21rst to the 23rd Kelly had a course in town that he took. One afternoon we went and met him when he was done and got groceries and had supper. The 24th I made party mix for Nigel's up coming birthday. The 25th was my first cousins wedding so we listened to it on the phone. The 26th I ran to Hythe in the morning to get stuff to make homemade ice cream for Nigel's birthday. The 27th I cleaned up the house and finished making ice cream and the decorations. The 28th. My little boys first birthday!!! I can hardly believe that he is one! Time has flown so fast. We invited Galen's, Tony's, Lorne's and folks for cake and ice cream. His party theme was on John Deere. I had yellow plates, green napkins, green forks and spoons that I labelled pitchforks and shovels, chocolate cupcakes with green and yellow frosting, party mix that said chicken feed, tea and water that said diesel fuel and gas and straws that said funnels. Also had homemade ice cream. It looked really cute. We give him his own cupcake and he poked at it and then put his face down and took a bite off the top. Then he did it again and then just smashed it to bits. The next day I ran to Beaverlodge to get a package. We had our annual harvest supper at folks in the evening. I made HoHo cake for dessert. We took Nigel to the ER after we got home because he had been barfing again and seemed like he had an ear infection. The nurse checked him over and said his ears where not red so we came home. The 30th I helped make hot lunch for school. We did chili over baked potatoes and donuts for dessert. In the evening we went to Albert and Anita's to play games. Had lots of fun and made many memories! Now for a little update on the kids. Heidi is still the same Heidi. Talking lots and always willing to help Mommy with what ever needs doing. Some for her favourites are setting the table and helping me in the kitchen. She knows most all her colors and gets them right most every time. She can also count to 5 with little help. She is completely potty trained now. I still wear pull ups on her for bed and to town. I still have to remind her to go but she does really good. Nigel is starting to walk he takes little steps here and there when he gets brave enough. He loves is blanket, soother, and Mommy. When he has those three things he is very happy. He loves to see his Daddy when he comes home. Kelly with pick him up and just about always he pats him on the back. He can now say Uh Oh. He weighs just over 23 lbs and is 30 inches long. He weighs about 5 more pounds more than Heidi did at that age and is just as long. We that is all for this time. Till next time......

I think I went for groceries one day and Kelly had to go the next day for an appointment so we rode along. On the 3rd Darrell and Vicky had their baby girl. Rebecca Kate. I has in the combine for several hours because they where having some trouble getting things going. It rained the next day so we went to town. It is no fun going to town on a Saturday. Way to busy for me! The 13th we went to Clay and Andrea's for dinner because it was Ricky's birthday. He is over at our house a fair bit and does some things with Kelly. Glenda and Casey came for supper. The 15th I took Heidi to Beaverlodge for a Dental Clinic. They checked her teeth and but fluoride on them all for free. We started harvest again that day too. The 16th was a bad day. Nigel woke up at 3 that morning barfing and barfed every 30 minutes till I took him to the ER at 6:30 in the morning.  I tried to sleep with him on my chest on the couch but it was a sleepless night. The DR gave him some medicine that made it stop so we came home. On the 17th Tony and Mary Jo Had there twin girls! Magdalena Faith and Olivia Grace. They we born very health and where able to come home 2 days later! The 20th we had singing in Grande Prairie in the afternoon. We met Jared and some of his friends for dinner. On the way home we stopped at Tony's to see the twins. They are so cute and do not look alike! Then we went to Albert's for supper. The 21rst I took Amy to town with me to get groceries. It was fun having someone else to go town with.  The 22nd I had  a DR appointment so I dropped the kids off with Glenda and Amy. It was my supper to make supper for the field so I invited Glenda and her kids to come. We all take turns make supper for the field. So I have to do it every third day. The 29th Amy came for the night because her mom went to a funeral and she didn't want to stay home with her day so we had lots of fun.  She started sewing me a new dress!. We had church in the evening. My turn to make supper the 30th. I took Amy home that night. A little updated on the kids. Nigel weights 22lbs and is a very busy little boy. He loves his sister very much. Not much has changed with Heidi. Well have to run! Till next time.......

September 12, 2015

Hello to all. I think about writing this days before I get it done. So back to August.  We had Tony's and Marshal for pizza on the 1st. Sunday night we had Galen's over after church and we finally got to sit around the fire. We have been working on a fire pit for 2 years now and its finally usable. It isn't completely done but that's ok for now. The kids and I went to town one day for groceries. Then one night Kelly and I went on a date night!! We have only had 2 of those since Nigel was born and this one was much needed. I need the break once in a while. The kids and I went to an auction sale for a little bit with Kelly one day. Kelly had 5 fire calls in one week so he was busy there. We had Lee's over one Sunday evening and sat around the fire. On the 10th I started painting the bathroom. It was one of those things that needed doing since we moved in and finally I got it done. We went to folks that night for supper as the guys where almost ready to start silage. the next day I painted the second coat and we where in the field for supper because they where doing silage. The 12th was my turn to make supper. I made Dr Pepper spicy pulled pork. It is easy to make because I can do it in a crock pot. I mowed lawn and finished in the bathroom. That night a terrible thing hit our house. The FLU. Nigel got it first and was sick most of the night. The next few days are kinda a blur in my mind. This nasty flu that the kids got lasted 5 WHOLE DAYS. The first couple of days where the worst. They didn't keep anything down till after 5 days. Heidi got it Saturday at 7:30 in the morning and barfed every 30 minutes till we finally took both of them in to the ER at 10:30 that night. Elaine and Mom had brought supper and mom stayed and cleaned the house because it was such a wreck. They gave Heidi Gravol suppositories to try and stop the barfing. She also had ear infection. Nigel was ok they just said to keep giving him milk in small amounts. So Kelly spent the night on the floor beside Heidi who was on the couch. She finally quite barfing around 5 in the morning.( it had slowed up a lot) Nigel was completely better by Tuesday but Kelly spent most of the day at home because I was so tired. I did mange to wash all of the outside windows. Folks brought supper that night.  Heidi better by Thursday. Such  a wonderful feeling!!! The cleaned the house on Friday because it felt so gross. Saturday I ran to Beaverlodge in the morning for a few groceries because we where have company for supper. Mark and Trista came for supper to plan program. Sunday we went to Del's for dinner. Monday we went to town. I had not gotten groceries for 3 weeks. Tuesday I made salsa and shampooed the carpet because it felt so gross. Wednesday we went to Galen's for supper and the ran the shampooer back in the AM. On Thursday the kids and I went to a local park for supper because there was company out from MI. Kelly came later in the evening. Friday I cleaned and made supper and took it to Tony's. Saturday the 29th was Elaine's birthday so I had everyone over for cake and ice cream. We where gonna have her folks but they where on a trip. Sunday was just a lazy day at home. In the evening we went to Dawson for supper. We hadn't been there for a long time. Well that's all for this time. Can't wait to here from all of you. Till next time......

August 8,2015

Hello to all. Yes I know this is long over due but I did sit down to write the other day but the computer wasn't working. So I have two months to catch up on and a lot has happened. The first part of June I got my wisdom tooth pulled. It had been bothering me for a while and I knew it needed pulling but that is something you don't really look forward to doing. I also needed to get all my sewing down for Carissa's wedding because I was going on a 3 week holiday. The second weekend in June was our school program and play day. On June 16 we left for Edmonton to a Isaac reunion. Kelly had a Machining Show in Edmonton on the 17th so the kids and I spent the day in a motel. It worked really good. Then we had a couple of days of our family vacation before we needed to be at the reunion. The reunion started the 19th for supper and ended the 22nd. It was at a campground/bible camp place. There is lodging for most of the people but about a dozen of us stayed in campers. It is no motel by any means. The water barely comes out of the showers and wasn't very warm. Heidi cried the whole shower time. Kelly would take Nigel and shower him and I would do Heidi. We would try to shower about 8 - 8:30 because they got real busy. The days where spent talking, eating, playing baseball, and there was an auction sale. Monday we headed back to Edmonton and checked into a motel close the airport. Did laundry all afternoon and packed suitcases because the kids  and I where flying to Michigan the next day. The 23rd Heidi, Nigel, and I flew to Michigan to see my family. Kelly was able to come through security with us and help me get to the gate. He could stay till I boarded then he had to leave. He headed home and the kids and I went to Toronto. My folks picked us up and we headed home! I was so excited to go because I hadn't been home for 1 1/2 years. The kids and I where there for 10 days and spent time with folks and my family. It was a lot of fun. Kelly then came for a long weekend and flew back with us. My folks are building house so it was fun to see that. My sister Lindsey and her husband Darren came up for a day and a night when Kelly was there. I did manged to sew Heidi's and mine wedding dresses so that was nice. Came home on the 6th of July and got right in to wedding preparations. Vicky and her children came on the 8th. Jason stayed at our place before the wedding so we kinda got to know him better. Of  course there where a lot of things going on and lots of good food to eat. The wedding was July 19th. It was a beautiful day. Most of Jason's family left that afternoon. There was about 300 people at the wedding. About 25-30 where Amish. The day after we got word that Heather was in pre-term labor. She wasn't able to make it to the wedding because Isaac didn't get his papers in time. Early Tuesday morning after the Doctors tried everything they could Baby Jeremiah was born. He was a healthy little boy but God seen fit to take him home. The last week in July was Bible school. Kelly decided Sunday night that he was gonna teach so Monday morning he was off the Bible School. He had a lot of fun and said the kids seemed to enjoy it. The program was on the 31st. Well that is a really short version of the last two months. Now for a little update on the kids. Heidi hasn't changed much. I would say she is about 90% potty trained. She loves playing outside with Bart her cat. Kelly has build and is finishing a swing set for her. She loves taking different stuffed animals out to push on the swing. She loves reading Samuel out of her "Jesus" books. She will say over and over what sounds like " Samuel go to bed". She got one of her 2 year molars in Michigan. Kelly has been getting a lot of fire calls lately so she has been talking about "daddy's fire truck". Every time she hear a page go out for him or another fire hall she says" fire truck fire truck" runs to the door.  Nigel weighs about 20 pounds and loves table food and his bottles. He can clap his hands and wave bye bye or Hi. He is crawling all over and pulls himself up. He got 2 top teeth while we where in Michigan. Well that is all for now. Hope to hear back from some of you sometime!! Till next time......

June 7, 2015

Hello to all. Once again it's time for me to update you all on our lives. Seeding started on May 1. So the field work started. Sunday May 3rd Jared, Tyler and Corey where here for dinner. Then we ran to BL in the afternoon because Nigel was almost out of formula. No place in town had the kind he takes to Monday morning I ran back because I knew the drugstore had it. Friday May 8 we had a weekend of meetings. Maynard Koehn from Inman and Ralph Toews from Steinback where here for that. Ralph and his wife where here painting Tony's house. Mother's Day we had Galen, Glenda and there family for dinner. Becky came home for the weekend. I told Glenda she could be my Mom for the day. May 13 was Rosi and Hailey's shower. Heidi rode in the tractor with Kelly because I was one of the people who planned it so I didn't need her running around. The 14th Nigel had his 6 month shots and I had a dentist appointment. The rest of the week I planted flowers and mowed lawn. Sunday it was our turn to go singing in Grande Prairie so we went to town for dinner. Monday Kelly helped me plant the garden. We finished it Tuesday night. We finished seeding the 22nd. we went to Landon and Sherri's one evening so Kelly could practice a song for Sunday night. Kelly's sister Carissa was announced to be married on Sunday to Jason Bauman from Hesson ON.  They are planning on a  July 19th wedding. So that means I need to get to sewing. Nigel had a 6 month Dr. appointment the end on the month. All of us some how manged to get a cold with a fever too. Then last weekend of May was a Youth Rally here. I had to make two 9x13 Oreo desserts. We also had company Saturday night for the night. My friend Tanya and Robert from Fort.  Now for an update on the kids. Not to much has changed with Heidi. She is talking more and we cant understand most of it. She loves talking on the phone to Sami and Grandma and Grandpa. She is loving that she can be outside and help Mommy water flowers. She has figured how to turn on the outside water so my lawn gets a lot of water too. Nigel is growing like a weed. He weighs 18 pounds and is around 28 inches long. He can now army crawl and gets on his hands and knees and rocks back n forth. He is fully on formula now and some solid food. He is not to interested in it yet. He does like to feed him self though so I think he will soon take off on it. He is now sleeping through the night so that is sure nice. Well time to sign off now. Hope you all have a good month. Till next time......

Saturday May 2,2015

Hello to all who read this. So far I have keep my promise to myself to update this once a month. Here I sit at 10:00 listening to my dishwasher washing my supper dishes and looking out at the darkening sky. My children are in bed although one most likely isn't sleeping yet but she is being mostly quiet.  I wonder sometimes if my mom was as busy as I am now or how do my friends with young children do it but I can't wait or bedtime and nap time to come so I can sit quietly on the couch with no one to bother me. Although that doesn't last long before I am interrupted. So for a little update on our lives. The first of April found Heidi sick with the flu. Her and I where up a lot. Finally she had nothing more to barf up so i just left her in her crib and she did get some sleep. We had a Good Friday service in the morning here so for dinner all of Kelly's family came over. Expect his mom because she was in Linden with Grandpa. Easter Sunday we went to Albert and Anita's for dinner. There youngest girl is 3 days older than Heidi. Grandpa Baerg died that day. So plans started being made about who was going and who was gonna stay home and chore and if everyone went who was gonna chore. All of those fun plans. Monday after Easter Kelly and I both had the flu. We never barfed but there where sure a few times that I stood in the bathroom door because I wasn't sure. So i was decided that everyone would go to the funeral and Errol would do the feed lot chores.
The funeral was on Thursday morning. We flew down and picked up Heather and headed to Linden. Everyone was very glad that Heather could come and she was then gonna stay a week. Isaac couldn't come because he doesn't have a visa yet. So we where busy the next week being with Heather. She is going to have a baby by the way. Not till November. Kelly and I did manage to go out for our anniversary one night. We left our babies at Galen and Glenda's. We had Mark and Trista for supper one night to plan more programs as we are on the program committee together.
Kevin and Rosi had a baby girl that they named Hailey Ann. So 4 of us ladies got together one morning and planed a baby shower for her. We decided to do owls and for the color do purple and turquoise. I think it will be very cute. Darrell and Vicky along with Miriam flew out for a few days. They are spending most of there time in the Fort but we did get to be with them for supper one evening. Well seeding and field work has started up here so Kelly will be really busy now. Now about the kids. Not much has changed with Heidi she is still busy and happy. Now that it is nicer outside she has been playing outside some. She still has her funny things she comes up with. Nigel is growing up so fast. He weights about 17.5 pounds. He mostly takes a bottle now. He is trying hard to sit up and is rolling all over. He can now scoot around on his belly but he doesn't get to far yet. Well Kelly is home now so it it time for bed. Good night and till next time.............

Thursday April 2, 2015

Hello to all. Once again it is time to update you all on our live up here. Nigel had a doctors app the first part of the month. I helped put on a baby shower for Sherri's baby. The theme was ladybugs. It turned out very cute. The first weekend Hythe hosted a tract meeting here. I had to take food Saturday night. So we stayed for supper. Sunday was a potluck at church. Kelly hauled grain for 3 days the end of that week. Nigel also had his second round of shots. He gets fevers after so we just stayed home for few days. The farm show was in town that weekend so we went to that. The 15th we went to Heartvalley for  church. We went to Aunt Violas for supper and Jay's after church with Papa Dwane's. I had only been to Heartvalley church once so I was glad we had went. They where just finishing up there singing lessons that Howard Koehn had given them. On the 19th Kelly went to church and listened to Annual Meeting. The 22nd was Kendel and Lexi's reception. I made chocolate cupcakes. Dad took us out for supper one night because he felt bad for everything us in-laws had been doing for him and Marshal. Mom has been In Linden for over 2 weeks now because Grandpa Bearg isn't doing well. The kids and I went to Sexsmith to an antique show. Also Kelly told me to the home show so that was fun. Heidi got to play in a bouncing castle for a while. She didn't really catch on but she had fun. We had Errol's over for supper one evening. We haven't been with them much Christmas. Last Sunday we went to Byron and Dawnalee's for dinner and we had Galen's and Landon's over for the evening. Becky was home for spring break so I wanted to see her. Little update on the kids. Heidi weights 30 pounds and is still as busy as ever. I have been letting her go out on our gated deck to play when it's nice out. Nigel weights 15 lbs 5 oz and can roll all over the place. Sure is different than Heidi because she never rolled much. He loves being in his walker and watching his sister play. A funny story about Heidi. I was drying Nigel off after is bath when I hear Heidi saying rock rock. I look over to see her holding a wash cloth she then carefully unwraps it and says morning and pulls out Nigel's washcloth. Well that is all for now. Till next time.................

Monday March 2, 2015

Here I sit 11:00 at night with my calender in front of me trying to remember everything that has happened in the last month. A lot of sickness has went around between me and the baby. He got the croup one night so spent much of the night up with him. Now back to the first of the month. I was sick with a bad cold and lost my voice so i could barely whisper. Whispering and a busy toddler do not go together but we made it ok. Dad in law had surgery on his stomach the 10th so we went to see him in the hospital one evening. Heidi was quit impressed with the little '' owies" he had.  She stood there looking at them and then very carefully took his blanket and covered them up. Around that same time ( can't remember the date) Landon and Sherri Reimer from here had a baby girl. They named her Latisha Cami.  We were very blessed to had baptism one Sunday. Two girls where baptized.   Kelly and the boys have had to work extra hours because dad is not able to work yet. So Kelly has been hauling grain again. Dad was doing it before his surgery because it was something he could do that wasn't heavy lifting. The last weekend in Feb Kelly did his ice rescue training again. He has to renew it every 3 years. I got 4 dresses for me and one for Heidi done this month. I have another one almost done then I have to sit down and do our year end stuff so we can get our taxes done. We got Nigel's crib set up in Heidi's room now but he hasn't slept in it yet because he has been sick again and needs the humidifier on him. I think i was in the walk in 3 times this month because someone was sick. I'm so ready for warm weather to come! Now some updates on the kids. Heidi is still talking lots she now calls the My Bible Friends books the "Jesus" books. She loves to sit in front of her books and page through them. She often brings me different stuffed animals through out the day saying "bap up" meaning wrap up and then when i'm done wrapping them in a blanket she smiles and claps her hands and says "come come". The other day she brought me one of her toys cows to wrap up. The other day she was eating some hot chips and they must had been burning her mouth because she came up to Kelly saying " kiss it kiss it" and made a kissing face. So Kelly kissed it and then she said " awh better" and continued eating them.  Nigel is growing fast. He now weighs 15 lbs 2 oz and is 25.5 inches long. His is starting to reach for toys and playing with them. He has been sick a lot tho so I sure hope he gets better soon.  Well Kelly is home now so its time for bed. See you next time.......

Saturday January 31 2015

It has been a long time since I have posted on here. I have thought about it lots but that doesn't work just by thinking about it. So will go clear back to June of 2014. Kelly and the rest of his family except for Elaine and I went to Heather's wedding in Haiti. Both Elaine and I where having babies so we stayed home. I painted the outside of our house while Kelly was gone. I had some different friends over to help. I had it all done by the time Kelly got home. Nothing stands out to much for the month of July. The end of July first of August we where in the field doing silage. I spent a few days driving swather. Lorne and Elaine had a baby boy August 2nd. They named him Rylan George.  We did go to Edmonton for a little vacation one weekend. The middle of August our friends from here Errol and Emily had a baby boy they named Jamin Bryce. September was spent in the fields doing harvest. I was told that I had Gestational Diabetes. I then had lots of Doctors appointments and classes to take to learn how to take care of myself.  October and that means baby is coming soon. Do to my GD I was going to be induced on my due date October 28 unless baby came sooner. I was having non stress tests to make sure everything was ok. I tried lots of things to have my baby sooner but of course nothing worked. October 28 came and in to the hospital I went not sure how I would handle an induction.  We had to be at the hospital by 8. We dropped Heidi off @ Tony's. She was gonna stay there for a few days. Induction went a lot better than I thought. I was able to leave the hospital for a few hours. I think they started me @ 9:30 and by 6:27 our baby boy was born.  We named him Nigel McKel. He was 8lbs 13oz and 21 1/4 inches long. Nigel is after an instructor Kelly had when he was in school. McKel is after Kelly.  November we where busy adjusting to a family of 4. My folks came out the end of November for almost a week. December we went to Edburg because one of Kelly's uncles died. We left Heidi @ Galen's because we left early early the morning of the funeral and come home the next day.  Christmas came with all it's activities.   We had Christmas with Kelly's family on the 26th. Stuart and Lea Isaac from Durham came up to see us. I made my home @ there place when I lived in Durham. They where here for 4 days.  Was lots of fun to see them. January came and we where supposed to start meetings but the ended up being pushed off till April. Our friends Cam and Ashley had a baby girl on the 7th. They named her Kambree Joelle. Our whole family has been sick most of this month. I think I have been to church 3 times including bible study.  I'm sick of being sick now. Now for some updates on the kids. Heidi turned 2 on December 22. She is talking lots and we can understand most of what she says. She weighs 29 pounds and is 1 inch short of 3 feet. She has very curly brownish reddish hair. She is a very busy girl and rarely sits down to play. She has decided that she wants to be potty trained now so we have been working on that.  Not sure how much Nigel weighs any more. We go to the dr on the 2nd. He is a very smiley baby and loves to talk to you. He has been a little colicky but seems to be out growing that. He sleeps up to 6 hours @ night so that is nice. He loves his soother which is a lifesaver for me.   Heidi loves to help by putting his soother in for me if I need her to. She thinks it a great highlight to have a "spashy" with him or to help give him one. Other wise she doesn't pay much attention to him.  She does always have to say " morning Nigels" when she sees him in the morning. Well not much more to say. See you all next time......
