Hello to all. Once again it's time to update you all on our life up north. The first of August found us in Edmonton for a test for Kelly's EMT school. Unfortunately he didn't pass everything so we won't be going to school now. Hopefully he can get in to the January class. The 7th was Justin and Steph's wedding. Justin is from here and Steph is from Crooked Creek. She taught school here last year. In the evening we went to e reception in Heartvalley. The 8th I went and got peaches and then we ran to town in the evening. The 9th had errands to run to Hythe and Beaverlodge. The 10th I made supper for Adin's family. He was in the hospital dying of cancer. I did my peaches that and we went to folks for supper. The 11th we got the news that Adin passed away. The 12th I cleaned the house. The 13th we went to town. We went to Errol's for supper in the evening. The 15th I made 4 dozen cupcakes for the funeral. We offered to help with the family supper and Kelly had to usher so we went to church to help out. The 16th was the funeral. The 17th Heidi and I had dentist appointment. Left Nigel home with Kelly. The 19th I had to get 2 fillings and Kelly had a CPR class in town.( he has to renew it every year) So I took the kids to folks for naps and went to town and meet Kelly and went out for supper. The 20th was cleaning day again. The 21st I did a trade show in Hythe. Kelly was gone from the 22nd till the 24th working for Frank putting up bins. The 24th I did applesauce. Kelly was home the 25 but he was swathing canola. The kids got to ride off and on all day. The 26th he was gone again. I did 80 cobs of ran and had to run to Beaverlodge. The 29th I cut out dressed and sewed. The 30th I sewed some more. I made raspberry cream cheese rolls to give to Elaine and Mary Jo for there birthdays. Took the rest to folks for snack for Elaine's birthday. The 31st I had an orthodontist appointment because I need a new retainer so I went see what kind to get and get fitted for one. Well that's all for this month. Nothing to exciting but we where busy. I guess I forgot to say but we also finished doing silage this month I don't remember when but Kelly helped for 2 days. Nothing to new on the kids. Weighed them both the other day and Heidi is 35 pounds and Nigel is 27. Nigel talks a lot and talks pretty clear . He loves to call his Grandma( my mom) he asks to just about every morning and says HI HI till she answers then he just grins and says HI lots. The other day Heidi was talking to my dad and Nigel was in the back room and all of the sudden he hears and says Bampa and comes running to talk. He loves all of his Grandpas. Even went Grandpa Haynes was here he was happy. Oh Heidi got a hold of the scissors to other day and cut a little bit of her hair. I was giving Nigel a hair cut I turned around the see her sip a little. Had to text Lynell and tell her. Well that's all for now. Till next time.....
